Hey, I'm Ashley.

I'm a fourth generation woodworker, foster mom, taco lover, homebody and I know just about every word to any country song from the 90's. I love creating modern farmhouse decor your your home and nursery. I truly believe your home should be filled with the things that make you happy, feel calm, and excite you when you walk through the door.

I've never really been the best at writing but I am attempting to blog and vlog our life, what it's like to be a wife, mom and run your own company.

I'd love to hear what you'd like to write about. If you have a question or a topic you'd like me to answer please let me know below.

I love to host dinner parties, bbqs, friends and family - anything. It fills my heart to welcome people into my home, cook for them and laugh and share stories. I come from a really large family, so growing up holidays were a big and special time. It wasn't uncommon to have 60-100 for Christmas Dinner on either side of my family.

I love country music. I dance and sing in the shop while I use the CNC, laser, or I am painting. The shop is my happy place. I went back to work one month after having Anderson because I needed to create something and cope with my postpartum depression.

I was born and grew up in northern Ontario and then moved to the Ottawa area when I was a pre-teen. I met Ethan at a wood show when I was 16. We were married 4 years later. Ethan has always been a 'Fleeter. We welcomed our son, Anderson after years of miscarriages and a stillbirth.

Here's some really random facts about me:

When I was 9 I was chased by a bear on my way to school.

Bananas - even the smell of them - make me gag.

I am 5'2".
