There are two options for this listing; clear acrylic and UD Frosted Acrylic. UD Frosted means it's from the "Ugly Ducking" Sale acrylic. It functions completely normal HOWEVER it has brown paper masking on it that will not come off unless you soak it in hot water and use Goo Gone. You can leave the paper on and it will work just the same. It just looks ugly - hence the name. If you select UD Frosted, the footprint will come with the masking still attached and you can choose to remove it or leave it.
