Christmas FAQs


We are logging off now for the Christmas break. We don't know what will happen with the new procedures being announced later this week and how it will affect small businesses like mine. But in the meantime we will enjoy what we can and be grateful for what we have. Before I signed off, I wanted to quickly write this blog post that will hopefully answer some questions you have while I'm away. 

When will you be back "in office" or working at the shop?

I will be returning from my vacation Jan 5th and I will do my best to return messages in the order I receive them so please try and only send one email or your name will get bumped in the order it was sent. Depending on the school closure my ability to get to the shop will be affected again. I may go back to working at night but I won't know until I return what our game plan will be. 

You may still see me hanging out on social media because I really do love to interact with you on a social level! I just need to shut down the business side of my brain for a little bit.

LOCAL PICK UP - I had an item ready for local pick up, but I didn't make it to the shop. Can I still pick up my order?

Yep! We will reopen for curbside pick up on Jan 5th. There will not be an opportunity for local pick up again until January. All packages have been removed from the shop to keep them safe while Stockroom Supply counts inventory. Please remember we use Stockroom as a pick up location only. 

SHIPPED TRACKED - I had placed and order but tracking says it will arrive after Christmas.

I am so sorry to hear that. I know it can be disappointing. Once a parcel leaves my shop I don't have any control on how long it will take to reach it's destination. Our postal workers are working so hard to make sure everything is going out as fast as it can. Maybe you could take a picture of the item you ordered and give it as a placeholder until the physical gift arrives? 

SHIPPED UNTRACKED - I had placed an order but it hasn't arrived. 

I am so sorry to hear that. I know it can be disappointing. Our packages sent lettermail are sent without tracking and insurance. Once I drop it off at the post office, I really and truly have no idea when it will arrive or where in the shipping process it is. Sometimes packages can take months to arrive and sometimes they get lost. You can read our shipping policy here.

I placed an order, will it be ready for Christmas?

Our Christmas cut off dates were Nov 13th for shipped and Nov 20th for local pick up. All orders placed before those dates have been completed. All orders placed after the cut off date are subject to a longer turn around time as stated in our terms and conditions upon purchase. You can read those here.

I placed and order after the cut off dates, when will it be ready?

Some orders have been started and won't take long to complete once I return. Please be patient as we are headed into another lock down which means I will be working without child care again. I will be doing my very best to get orders out as fast as possible. All black Friday/Cyber Monday orders will be started when I return to the shop. The turn around times are listed on the website in the product descriptions. For items with multiple items per order, your turn around time will be based off the item with the longest turn around time.

I placed an order thinking it would be ready for Christmas and it won't be. Can I cancel my order?

Please email us with your name and order number (you can find that on the order confirmation sent to you) with the subject line "cancelation request". If we haven't started your order we can issue you store credit. If we have started your order you can either wait it out, or there will be a fee deducted from your store credit based on how far into the order we are. 

I have an issue with my order, when will I hear from you?

First off, sorry to hear that! Second, please please please EMAIL me. I will be returning from my vacation Jan 5th and I will do my best to return email in the order I receive them so please try and only send one email or your name will get bumped in the order it was sent.
